Our Musical Journey

A lifelong dedication to music, rooted in tradition and enriched by versatility

The Beginning

Music has always been a constant presence in our home. Our father, Shri Angad Gaikwad, is our first guru, and music classes were an everyday part of our childhood. Listening, observing, and absorbing music from an early age created a natural inclination and love for singing.

As this interest grew, we began formal training and started participating in music competitions. Gradually, we moved from local platforms to district-level, state-level, and eventually national-level competitions. Each stage refined our understanding of music and helped us reach a wider audience.

Music did not feel like a career choice—it became our identity.

Training & Foundation

Trained from a young age under the guidance of our father and guru Shri Angad Gaikwad, we have grown up in an environment where music was not just a discipline, but a way of life. Our training in Indian Classical Music (Hindustani) forms the bedrock of our musical expression.

While Indian Classical Music forms the foundation of our training, our performances span a wide range of genres. This versatility allows us to design concerts that suit diverse audiences while maintaining musical integrity and emotional depth.

Key Milestones

Sangeet Samrat Victory

At the age of sixteen, we participated as a duet in the Marathi reality show "Sangeet Samrat", where we emerged as winners. This became a major turning point in our journey.

National Television

Featured in several prominent music reality shows including Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs, Indian Idol, and Sur Nava Dhyas Nava. These platforms helped our music reach millions of listeners across the country.

Collaboration with Legends

Performed with and received appreciation from A.R. Rahman, Shankar Mahadevan, Sonu Nigam, and other renowned artists. A.R. Rahman personally invited us to his studio and later tweeted about listening to our classical music.

International Recognition

Performed extensively across India and internationally, including a successful concert tour in Israel (2025), receiving immense appreciation from global audiences.

Working as a Musical Family

We have been performing together with our father, Shri Angad Gaikwad, for many years. Song selection, thematic planning, and musical aesthetics are deeply influenced by his guidance, which audiences often recognize and appreciate.

One of the most meaningful compliments we receive repeatedly is that despite extensive media exposure, we remain grounded and connected to the audience—and we consider this our true recognition.

Music has been an inseparable part of our lives from the very beginning. It was never a question of choosing music—there was nothing else we could imagine ourselves doing. Music continues to be our purpose, our discipline, and our emotional anchor.
